What it is

A free book pack for every baby, provided by the reading charity BookTrust. Designed to support early development and encourage parents to share stories with their babies from the very beginning.

• In Wales, a bilingual pack is available
• Additional books available in other languages for EAL families

Who can get it

Every child aged 0 to 12 months in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. No income or benefit requirements - this is truly universal.

How to get it

Packs are distributed through health visitors, libraries, registrars, and other early years professionals. Ask your health visitor at your baby's routine check or contact your local library.
