An ancient chart used for centuries. Just for fun!
Legend has it this chart was discovered in an ancient Chinese royal tomb over 700 years ago. It uses the mother's lunar age at conception and the lunar month of conception to predict the baby's gender.
Lunar age is different from your Western age - it is typically one or two years older, because Chinese tradition considers a baby to be one year old at birth and adds a year at the Lunar New Year.
While hugely popular across many cultures, scientific studies show the chart's accuracy is around 50% - essentially the same as random chance. It is a lovely tradition, but not a reliable predictor.
